She is looking for a running and adventure buddy!

She was rescued from Riverside Shelter right before she was going to be euthanized. She's around 1 year old and 45 lbs. She's VERY people friendly, potty and crate trained, and walks great on a leash.

Black mouth cur's are working dogs. They need plenty of exercise everyday and some mental stimulation/structure goes a long way.

Soleil went to board and train for 3 weeks to work on her leash reactivity (to other dogs) and some basic manners. She knows place, sit, crate, down, stay. She is dog selective but can be with other dogs if introduced properly. On leash (on walks) when she sees a dog she focuses on them but doesn't bark anymore - it's easy to redirect her focus and continue on the walk. She is very responsive to a leash tug. She's a smart, athletic and very loving pup who deserves the absolute best.
